Ref sensor

Hi
In our last race we had some problem on the last stage.
The engine suddenly died, 2 times, the same place on the track.
As you can see in attached log, the rpm drops from above 8000 to 50-100 with a lot of noise.
But in a few seconds, the signal comes back again.
We have checked the wiring, measured the sensor and can't get the error again.

My question is, can it be the magnetic ref sensor ?
Or have any of you experienced this before ?
The Ecu is a M84.

Have not seen that before and have no idea what's dropping out. Have you logged or checked what the internal temp of the M84 was? Or the thermals on the sensor? Not sure what app this is.

I'm new to the MoTeC but that looks like an temp, thermal, or over-current related shutdown/protection.

Thanks for your reply LSR Racer
Yes i'v checked the internal temp, (50 C)

The funny thing is, that the error haven't got back again.
We where racing Lille-Mats last weekend, and didn't have any problems.

We have tried to simulate the error, and it's allmost the same error if the ground is missing to the ref sensor.

Then we changed the connectors and the sensor.
Now, we will wait and see, and hopefully we don't see this error again.

Hi Nisse

Yes the we do log the "Ref / Sync Synchronized".
And it also showed error when we had the problem.

In Lille-Mats we finished 2. in our class (kl.4) and 7. overall.
