Unable to change XY values in Aux Table

Postby ajstamps on Sun Sep 24, 2017 5:03 pm

As the title states, I am unable to change my XY values in an Auxiliary Output (currently set to function 3; Aux table). All I am able to have in my X is RPM and Y is Gear. When I click on "Select" in the Axis setup page, nothing happens. Same for Ctrl-S. The label is blurred out, like that is a set value, even though in the function description it says: "Used to control a PWM or switched device using a 20 x 11 table with user definable axis parameters."

Any ideas? Am I just doing something blatantly wrong? Or is this something that requires some trick?

I've looked around and it looks like the tables are actually locked down (really stupid if you ask me...), but I might have found a way around it. If I use Aux 6 I can wire into user 2 and that will work as a switch.

I should've probably stated that I'm trying to have the M84 handle downshifts so new drivers (FSAE team) don't accidentally downshift and blow the engine. I figure if I wire into User 2, pass 12 V when the downshift button is clicked, Aux Out 6 can be set so above a certain RPM it won't pass to ground. Just a guess though. If others have done the same thing, or have a better solution, I'm all ears.

Thanks.
