How to adjust logging?

Hi all,

I just know this is a total-noob question & the answer will be obvious ... but how do you change what data is logged by the ECU?
The manual seems to say I should go to the Adjust menu, then Data Logging Setup, then choose an item. So I've gone through the things I wanted to log, and selected them.

Later when I use Utilities / Get Logged Data (Ctrl + F8), i2 shows that I haven't logged the stuff I wanted to log.

What'm I doing wrong, should I have performed a File / Send File to ECU (Ctrl + F5) in order to make those logging changes stick?

Ta muchly in advance!

Hi Forg,

To get the channels to log (maximum of 16) in the M84, you need to change the Value from 0 to the rate that you want the channel to log at, with a maximum rate (hz) of 100. If there is a 0 next to the channel, it will not log. To remove a channel from the log set, you change the value to 0.

When you have made these changes, you have to save the file using Ctrl+S (if connected to the ECU), or Send File to ECU if you do the work off line and then send it to the ECU.

Thanks heaps!

I've just had a play in offline-mode, it seems obvious now you've described it to me. :)
