Hy guys, my name's Vlad, and from Romania. I've been mounting and mapping stand alone's for about 8 years now, and i'm at my first motec full install. I've done about 5-6 motec mappings till now, but just mappings, the cars arrived idling well. Now, i'm at my first install. The engine's a 2JZ, forged internals, 8.5:1CR, oem cams, after market Intake mannifold, and 90mm throttle plate, 950cc deatchwerk injectors (high), HX40 turbo and a custom milspec loom made by your's trully. I've fitted a haltech, because that's what i'm most familiar with, and managed to make 440hp @ 1bar, since the engine was stil runing in, i've let it like that for a while, the owner, i don't know how, managed to crossthread a spark plug, and we had to take the engine apart. We alsow bought a new M84, since the owner decidet that he want's the best for his engine. Now, my problems are:
For the 36-1, VR, trigger and sensor setup that i have, witch sync mode do i run? i would like to run for now, till winter, a semi-seq setup with wasted spark, just with crank signal. All i want for now is to make the car push the same 440 as before, at the same boost, after that, i will go up, i like to take it one step at a time, gradually increase, and first thing first, gain knowledge!
From what i have read, i was thinking: Ref/synk Mode "5" and Nr. of cylinders "36". Correct me if i'm wrong please
PS: Glad to be a part of this world now
