Hello to everybody here.

As first start it look really friendly and very helpfully the F1(Help) function for not misanderstad anything...

Compared to others ecu i have installed, this work has start in a better and relax way...

First start done, few adjustment and seams most is done.
Still need to fine setup the calibration on Dyno, starting tomorrow morning...

I have few questions that maybe for who use the motec ecus from some time are very simple.

Under errors view, i see few AV Chanel's that I don't use, and not configured, but are Off is the setup, show me error in red marked syntax.

I must care about those errors or see I'm not using are this normal???
Or where I can retrieve it?
I saw unders sensor setup I can't delete it, are there even if I don't want them thus time.

About synchronized view under errors is normal that I see in red until the engine run?
This I guess it's right, but I would like to hear it from someone to confirm it.

This time I have really little time to discover and make many try, but so far I like it really much the ECU.
And especially how much friendly it is to use !

Will keep in touch, with some other installation soon

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards

With the errors on the sensors, if you change it so that the DiagLo and DiagHi values are -0.5v and 5.5v then the ECU will not go into error on those channels.

With the Ref/Sync errors, until the engine is running then you will get those errors, if you still have them occuring after the engine has been started and is idling evenly, then there is an error either in your wiring that is causing spurious signals, or your config is not quite right.

Thanks for your clarification.

Everything went well.

Awesome how fast motec can setup and fine adjust on Dyno.

Here below few pictures

NB. About tacho, I had to add a resistor 4K7 between aux2(use for tacho) and +12v to get the readout.

I wait next installation to discover some more nice features of M84

Best regards to all
