Try to start a YZF R6

So I've got everything hooked up and checked but I'm getting just some choking and puking. I've got a few questions about settings and I've attached my sync capture and the ECU file.
I'm guessing that it's something to do with my timing or timing setup so I'll list a few observations out.
Firing order on an R6 is 1-2-4-3
When #1 is on TDC compression the REF point is 8 teeth past the (-2) deadzone.
the ref wheel is 24 (-2)
the CRIP that was in the R6 file was 463* but by my calcs it should be closer to 480 or 120...which is where I'm unsure
I get good outputs on all my injectors and coils
I pulled most of the settings off of the M400 R6 file
when the injectors and coils are wired up into the ECU, the #1 coil/inj goes to the #1 on the ecu and so on...I remember seeing somewhere that you need to wire them up "weird" to what you would think you would. (if that makes sense)
we imported our prior fuel map and timing map from last year so thats where those came from.

Also I had forgot to mention that when trying to start I'm getting a few pops through the intake which is why I'm assuming that my timing is off. and also that I get no errors when cranking.
EDIT:
I started going through the R6 start file again in fear that I didn't copy something right...and I'll be darned if there was. I currently have the trigger for the sync set to falling edge where the start file for the R6 was rising...that would probably be my timing issue. I'll fix that tomorrow and see what the results are...as its midnight here in the states.

Just as an update I switched the sync to rising edge trigger and it didn't make much of a difference. I'm going through the webinars again since i installed the tuning software on my desktop and i can look at the webinar and the file at the same time to see if i missed something.

I logged the ref and sync levels during cranking and they look absolutely horrid compared to the ref/sync capture that i got through the ECU software. I've attached the log as reference. I'm assuming its because my log rate is only 100Hz.

Sync should be rising according to your ref sync capture.
I'd say 463 is correct for CRIP
According to your data the engine is syncing up correctly.
For clarity, Firing Order 1243
Cyl1 wired to ECU IGN 1/ INJ 1
Cyl 2 wired to ECU IGN 2 / INJ 2
Cyl 3 wired to ECU IGN 4 / INJ 4
Cyl 4 wired to ECU IGN 3 / INJ 4
If you upload the M400 start file you've used and also the file you've copied your maps from I'll have a look at those and see if I can see anything.

The ECU doesn't log fast enough to look at ref sync data. Use the ref sync capture.

Also all 4 injectors are in error (open circuit) in your log data.

I actually just got it running last night. Simon at the Cali office helped me with a few things, one of which was the clarification of the proper wiring for the injectors and coils. The CRIP seems to be happiest around 410 or so but I think there's some other issues to work out. It starts a little hard but I'm starting to get the kinks worked out. At least once it gets running I can hook it up to my lambda and tune it.

You must put a timing light on the engine to verify CRIP. I know it's difficult on a bike but it MUST be done.

Hi there,
Sorry to jump onto an old thread, but I am right now trying to get a 2008 YZF-R6 working with an M400 ecu. I received an R6 start file from Motec after sending them a ref-sync capture, but the start file did not come with a CRIP value. Can you tell me what value you found out to be right? I've seen 463 degrees elsewhere in Motec forums, but was just wondering what value you found to be correct.
Thanks!
