I've got an M84 teamed up with a RacPak IQ3 dash and the racepak adapter for MoTeC, problem is that I can not get the IQ3 to display. Can I connect the IQ3 with out the apapter? What are the channels? If not what about a hexidecimal equivliant. What about reading off the RS232?

We know nothing about these Dash's here unfortunatly. You will need to contact your Racepak dealer.

Jamie, thanks for the reply. The guys at Racepak are interested in hearing back as to what we find out. Their dash works great teamed up with the hundred series with their adapter. I have the adapter and we've tied into the CAN communications and get nothing. I have seen Shane T do a set up on the Racepak that works with the hundred series and it works fine. I understand that the M84 has a fixed CAN so that is what it is. What about the RS232 communications?

Now I've got an MDD and it's not working with my M84! I went through the M84 Webinar about connecting to other devices. I did notice that V1.00G was discussed in the webinar, I have V1.00F is that an issue? What Dash manager and how do I get it in? I can not find V1.00G anywhere!

The M84 should just work when connected to the MDD as there are no settings available in the M84 ECU Manager to change. It does not matter which version of M84 you use. Check your CAN bus, ensure that you follow our recommended CAN wiring diagram in the manual. V1.00G was a beta version we were testing. RS232 settings in the M84 are only for recieving GPS data not for transmitting to another device.
