Hello.
I want to migrate from F-Con Vpro ecu to Motec M84 and i have some questions
Is it possible to activate knock control function with SKM?
Could you make MAP oriented startup calibration file for Evo7 JDM?

The M84 does not have knock control as an option. The M400,M600, and M800 would be the ECU models you'd need for this capability.

The M84 has been designed to be a lower cost ECU, and as such, some of the more advanced features such as knock measurement and control are not available.
Accurate Knock measurement is far more difficult to do than most people understand, and if it is done inaccurately, it can do more harm than good (by reducing engine power unnecessarily, or by allowing knock that you assume is being stopped)
If you are going to spend the time and money required to do knock measurement accurately, then you would be more the type of customer who we see would use an M400, 600 or 800 with its more advanced features.
regards
Jamie

I want to know this too... can we use something like the Phormula KS-4 and use one of the analog 0-5v inputs of the M84??.. Does this going to be "something" accurate??.
It's definitive or "maybe" in the future we may expect an upgrade with the SKM or some??..
Thanks in advance...
P.S.: people, do you know some other brand of Knock Detection that has analog 0-5v output??..
