Shady16 emailed me a log and config. Unfortunately none of the digital input status channels have been logged which are needed to come to a confident conclusion, but there are at least a few clues...
Looking through the config, on top of the normal RPM limit I can only see only two other functions set up that would trigger a cuts; a gear shift cut, and a 2nd RPM limit, these are activated by dig inputs. The RPM limit is set to 13500RPM, so we can probably rule out that one. Also in one of the logs we can see an ignition cut at below 5000RPM, so we can rule out the 2nd RPM limit which is set for 5000. This leaves the gear cut function as the most likely culprit. I suspect most likely that the switch on the gear lever is giving a false trigger or the rider is bumping/resting on the lever, the best way to confirm this would be to log 'status flag group 7'.

Looked at the calibration.

looks like its most likely the the ignition cut.

go to digital input functions> sw in 4 (AT4)>setup

and change the levels to suit the way you have it wired.

because the way the cut is behaving is exactly like the way the gear ign cut is set up.
however the ign cut request is not logged.

I looked at the config. You have the ignition cut set to Switch 4 (AT4, pin B6). That is generating the ignition cut when you shift -- so it's probably connected to some type of switch on the shift linkage, or shift mechanism. The delay is gear dependent, but your gear detection isn't working...

What is wrong in your config, is the gear detection. You have the type set to RPM (uses RPM drop to figure you changed gears), but no gear ratios are entered -- that's why the gear value shown doesn't change when you shift gears.

Fill in the information under Adjust->Functions->Gear Detection->Gear Ratios.

Thanks for all the replies and help fellas. I have checked everything you guys have posted. I will be going to the track tomarrow and making some shakedown passes. I will post results and logs etc. Hopefully this issue will be resolved.
