For coil near plug, dont overloook the LS1/2/3/6/7 etc series of coils as used on General Motors V8's

They are all very powerful and have built in ignitors. You would have no problems with them. They are also pretty reasonably priced, new or second hand.

I got the first 4 that were imported officially to the US 3 years ago, prices have come down quite a bit since then. PM me for specifics.

Thanks for all the input guys, I think I'll provisonaly look at using these p100-t's. It's probably better to get something that easilly does the job rather than a coil that could be marginal at higher levels.
