Lambda sensor calibration and closed loop lambda

Postby acca on Wed May 15, 2019 5:44 am

Hello
I have a Bosch LSU 4.9 Lambda sensor.
I'd like to use it to perform closed loop calibration.

I have installed it following the Motec document https://www.motec.com.au/filedownload.php/?docid=3525

So i choosed Calibration "#38 Lambda internal LSU or NTK", but with this calibration, closed loop doesn't works (Lbda1ctrl is always off). I have to choose "#40 Lambda Bosch wide band meter" to make it work.

But with this choice, is the Lambda value correct ?

Is that choice important if i make an "air calibration" ?
Thanks

Hello,
You will not have to make any complicated set up to make this work. please put the Lambda sensor calibration back to the correct one for the sensor and confirm that it is working properly.

Closed Loop Lambda will not work if you are in any of the fuel tuning screens so it is always best to be in the main ignition table if you have the laptop connected. I would then normally have a graph for the closed loop trim and a status light for the close loop control.

Send me your ECU configuration so I can check it.

I chose the Calibration "#38 Lambda internal LSU or NTK" but lambda control did not start.
I send my config via private message
Thanks
