Hi,
We've just bought an M84 ECU for a two-cylinder Kawasaki engine. We were testing the laptop connection with the minimum things wired, when we realised we made a newbie mistake.
We wired just injectors, ignition coils and temperature sensor, but the fail was that we missed the ignitor between the coils and the ecu (we have coil on plug), so we wired the coils directly on the ECU.
In consequence there was an obvious coil overheating, so we wired again the ignition system, this time correctly with the bosch ignitor, but now there isn't any spark. When we test outputs, a little "click" can be heard on the coil, but there isn't a spark.
Despite of this, the injector 1 output stopped working too, if we wire injector 1 on #2, #3 or #4 output in the ecu, both injectors work properly, but don't if they are in #1 and #2 outputs.
Are these outputs definitely burned? In this case, is there any chance of repair them?
And about the injector, is it normal that because of the ignition mistake that output stopped working also? Can we pin the injectors in #2 and #3 output, for example, and have a correct firing?
Thanks in advance.
