Idle Ignition Comp table axis

I was curious, since the axis cannot be changed for this table, why was "Idle Actuator Position" chosen as the axis. In a 2d look-up table like this, I've always seen the axis be Idle Target Error. Understandably, this ecu is entry level, but Idle Actuator Position does not seem like a useful axis for this table, and having Idle Ignition Comp working well is important for good idle control in may applications.

Am I missing something, maybe there is a work around ?
