Feature suggestion - Flex Fuel Sensor

Postby mstech on Thu Oct 03, 2013 10:21 pm

Currently the M84 doesn't allow for the use of a flex fuel sensor (such as the GM 13577394) as the inputs that are needed to enable the function are locked permanently to being speed inputs, would it be possible to make a change to the configuration of the units in a firmware/software release that allows the use of one of these inputs to run the sensor?

It seems strange to force a user to upgrade to a Mx00 just to be able to run a flex fuel sensor, when most of the equivalent (to the M84) competitors ECU's allow the function.

This would be really nice as more and more we have Ethanol being mixed with gasoline everywhere and in different ratios depending the location. Any chance for that in the future?
