I have no ties to the product and have never used one, just stumbled across it a while ago. @$300 for 12 extra AV's it might be easier than doing it yourself...
Seems like all his electronics are aimed towards the M1's.

I hadn't seen it. I shot him a note and as I suspected it would needs some re-work to do lambda. AV is just that, a voltage value but the LTC converts the voltage to lambda so that feature would need to be added to make the ana2 work. ...waiting to here if he's interested in selling it that way.

I'm honestly 3/4 leaning to leaving the M150 on the shelf for now and installing something else as the $4k I paid for the unit itself was really just a down payment on a $7k setup so when I'd budgeted $5100......trying to decide if I should just cut my loses and move on.....not sure.

For info, the pressure output of the sensor reads OK on an AT input (slight offset, just need to change the table)....the temperature output on the sensor doesn't read at all on an AT input. A bit ironic that the temperature sensor doesn't work on an AT input! Still, freed up a knock sensor input so good enough.

A single knock sensor on a V6 probably isn't ideal but still better than NONE.

Thanks for the tip.

just watch that it doesn't drift or over heat the sensor...those are the only concerns I think.

He's looking into what it would take and will get back to me.

For you M130 guys I also asked if it was possible to have 2 pins be setup to read/send lambda and the other 10 stay AV expansion, again he's looking into it.

I've got none connected but still have the 4 pins available......I need to figure out what my plan is other than ignoring the it

In other news I have a muffler build....I just need to actually connect it to the engine :)

This is a street car and I live in suburbia so it's got to be relatively quiet.....but its also supposed to make about 900hp, or 1004hp if the latest dynomation5 update is to be trusted so a lot of flow.

I have 4 muffler, 2 for each bank. For quietish I bought plain ole perforated core muffler 2 with 2" pipe from these guys:
http://www.stainlesssteelmufflers.com/350mufflers.htm

The for hp I have 3" borla xr1 race mufflers. I did go with the multicore hoping they'd actual muffle a bit.

Then I added by-pass valve to the borlas that will be ECU controlled.
http://www.quality-tuning.com/exhaust-vacuum-valves

I want the car to keep a stockish 4 chrome tip look so I wanted to stay with 4 tip through the stock cover....so I made siamesed 3" tips that I'll polish

The exhaust is 6-2-1 and the 1 needs to be 3.5" pipe all in a relatively tight space so basically all the collectors landed on bends and I had to make them instead of buy them :(

Here's the 2-1 to out pipe for the front bank or the collector from hell as I refer to it :o

I just heard back.

He modified a lam2:
http://etesta.com/etesta-products/lam2.html

to read 2 AV signals and send them to an M1xx as lamdba. He said this was easier then using the ana2 but he'll price it the same as the ana2 at $299 and can have it ready mid next week. He's thinking these will be available to to anyone who asks, but if won't be a standard part so you will need to ask.

I continue the work on a cheaper open source option but this solves the immediate problem and still saves me $500

A little more info came in for anyone interested:
1. Mating connector: It will be a 8-pin Molex and will add one with pins for additional $5. Box will look like this: http://etesta.com/etesta-products/lam2.html
2. "Output formula would be selectable from the CAN” - WB2CAN function will be a “easter egg” in the ANA2 product, I will make it public afterall but this feature will be hidden. It will cost $299 and ANA1 price will increase to $399. Formula is selected by sending a message thru CAN to it. Value 0 will be straight mV, value 1 will be the LTCN format using the formula {(Vout - 0.5) x 0.189} + 0.62. From M1 Tune you need to select LTCN and that’s all.
3. Payment link: Will send it later this week.
4. CAN speed: Can be changed with a CAN message later if needed. By default it will be 500kbit/s. CAN address is set thru the CAN as well, by default it is 0x460 (WB1) and 0x461 (WB2).

The lambda formula is what's published for the NGK WB units which are pretty good I'm told so that's what I suggested he use. The innovate units I have are pre-programmed with a slightly different formula, but can easily be re-set to match the NGK formula.

Also note the little " ANA1 price will increase to $399" tidbit

...so if you're thinking about the AN expander best grab one now.

Not good ones. My wife's daily driver lost a timing chain tensioner followed shorting by all the valves. So first buy her another car, then tear down and fix the old car and summer and a whole lot of money is gone :(

I also had a couple other projects to knock out The last of them a 456 intake modified to accept ITBs, different injectors and fit a 550....that shipped out Thursday so I;m officially back on my own car!

...but it's my wife's birthday so even talking about entering the shop this weekend would be quite expensive :?

I've also reconsidered the control system so the project probably doesn't belong on this forum anymore......I have my own little forum with project details here:
