Well i have been having problems with downloading and setting it up on my windows vista laptop. I also tried doing the same on my Desktop PC running windows 7, and came across the same problem.
A quick call to Motec Usa, and looks like the the VCS is only compatible with 32bit OS. He said they are working on the drivers to make it compatiable with new 64bit Os like Vista and windows 7.
just a FYI to everyone.

Been trying to mess with the software the last couple nights, wont let me open it for some reason. gives me a database error when it gets to about 60% finished. tried it on a different laptop and did the same thing. Im gonna give Tech a call in the AM to see if they know anything.
I hate being the Test Dummy sometimes. lol

Try using version 2.35. It has some fixes for OS compatability (putting specific DLL's in the correct directory's)
regareds.
