VCS stop working

VCS blink 14 times then 3 fast and again and again. Cant send superviser or dsp firmware. Try to format card, doesnt help. After connectin to laptop serial number is 00000 and XXDriver. Any ideas?

I'm not sure exactly what is wrong with that unit.

You should send it in to us via your MoTeC Dealer and we will take a look at it.

One thing to remember is that those units are now very old and we are no longer able to get many of the parts for them. Depending on what is wrong we may not actually be able to repair it.

Thx for your reply, i'll try to replace flash card first, if it's don't help i'll send vcs to you

I was presented with a VCS exhibiting the same error code LED flash sequence. Re formatted the card as suggested on the forum, no improvement.
On board is a small lithium button cell reading a terminal voltage of 0.45V instead of 3-3.3V.
Had a new 2032 lithium cell on hand as well as a holder to suit, grafted the holder onto the PCB, added the cell and cured the problem. A word of caution here, the overlay on the board looks like the image of the cell holder, however the orientation is incorrect, beware of the cell polarity and ensure it matched the original with positive terminal toward the outside of the PCB, use original holes if possible to mount your new cell. No error codes anymore, just a fast LED flash indicating a ready state.
