DBW idle control at speed

Postby BluByU on Sun Feb 07, 2010 12:04 am

Is there a trick to disabling the wheel speed requirement portion of idle control? If I set it to the recomended 2mph or whatever it is, then when driving at 30mph if I push in the clutch and hold it in, the engine will die because idle control never becomes active. I was hoping to do this without always having to set the throttle body partially open all the time, so right now I have it set at 100mph(the max), but I was coasting the other day down a long hill and I was over 100 and the engine died... not fun to say the least.

Throttle position translation table try 0=1% or whatever it takes for your engine to not stall.

I use 0.6%.

I really wish I could just set the speed setting to -1 or something to disable it without having to set a min opening amount.
