Aquamist HFS-5 meth kit with M800

Postby robespierre on Tue Nov 03, 2009 1:06 am

I bought a Aquamist HFS-5 water/meth injection kit sometime back but didn't got the chance to install it as I bought a M800 ard the same time. Now that my M800 is properly setup and running fine, I'm thinking of doing something with the kit. I'm going to run 1 injector per intake manifold runner, which means 4 injectors in total, and be running 50/50 meth and water mixture. Now I'm wondering what's the best way to integrate the kit, especially the DDS3 controller, with the M800.

Has anyone got any experience running this particular kit with their Motec?

I bought a Snow kit and ended up not using the supplied controller and just let the M800 run the pump, I tried PWMing the Solenoid but it was noisy and the adjustment range was quite coarse, I ended up making the solenoid on/off and PWMed the pump it was much better this way.

I use an Aux table to control the HSV according to fuel injector duty cycle.
DDS3 flow sensor is connected to a AV channel.
Fuel and ignition compensation is only applied when water flow is within a window.

Which function did you associate with the Aux Output?
