I have installed an M48 on an old Porsche 911. I have also installed throttle bodies so I now have no idle control system.

Has anyone any tips for getting a good smooth idle when cold.

It can be difficult getting the right Fuel ET compensation on an air cooled Porsche, what are you using to measure the temperature? The cylinder head temp sensor used on later model Porsches (964/993 etc) could be useful here. You need to make sure that the throttles are properly balanced and that the opening is syncronized well. Idle speed shouldn't be too much of a problem as you should be able to use ignition timing to prevent it from stalling.

Regarding the 964 cylinder head temperature sensor....

I'm looking for table or setup for this original sensor.

Thanks
