Hi
Car:
Jspec TT6 GTE NonVVTI
RZ JPN LB 2JZGTE TWT MTM 6F
JZA80-ALFQZ
ECU M130
How will I setup OEM injectors to work with the ECU, the base map is based on ID1000CC as opposed to OEM Denso 440CC?

Hi Carlo,
Do you have the part number for the injectors?
If you are running one of the GP packages later than July 15, then there is a drop down list of injector Calibrations under Fuel Injector Primary Calibration and Fuel Injector Secondary Calibration parameters, this is found in 2: Initial Setup | 8 Injectors. Have a look through this list and see if your injectors are listed. If they are not, and are still factory standard, then you can organise through one of our dealers to have the injectors returned to us for calibration, this normally is a two week turnaround once we receive the injectors.

Thanks Stephen
OEM Part Number is 23209-49025
I presume they work based on this thread

Hi Carlo,
We haven't tested those specific injectors, do you want to have them done?

Thanks Stephen, do they need to be tested?
Dealer said they will work but I am starting to think they where more interested in the sale and telling me what I want to hear; they said nothing about 2 week turnaround, I really don't want to have my car off the road for such a long time, motortax here is $$$

Hi Carlo,
For the M1 to properly control the injection process, the injectors need to be characterised. This provides the M1 with the information needed to be able to calculate the pulse width value for the lambda target. If injectors are used that haven't been characterised, then the M1 can struggle to maintain the lambda target. I would either get the injectors characterised, or replace them with another set of injectors that are already in the list, if you do not want your car off of the road for that period of time.

Thanks Stephen
Can you let me know the process to get them characterised, I will see if I can buy a second hand injector

Hi Carlo,
you need to talk to one of your local dealers to organise for the injector to be characterised, they will send the injector to us, we do the testing, and then send it back to the dealer to return to you. If the injectors are factory standard, unmodified and have the standard part number on them, then the characterisation testing is free of charge. if they have been modified, then there is a charge levied. You may also have the cost of the postage back and forth for the injectors as well.

Hi Stephen
Here is a Base map John has , I dont see a drop down list to select the injector i.e. ID1000
Looking at the calibration I taught the mapper will just fill in the relevant parameters , maybe based on values you supply to the mapper, if so do you have a list of what injectors you have characterised, so I can verify whats available and best suited for my setup?
I found Injector Dynamics

What about using a simple Voltage table with the OE Injectors?
