3-port solenoid and External Wastegate Plumbing and Config

Hi Gents,
Could you guys perhaps share your preference on how a 3-port solenoid should be plumbed to a single Tial EWG of a single turbo.
Also, what frequency and polarity are you guys using to configure the setup of the solenoid..?
The base map I started off with stipulates a Frequency of 16Hz with a Polarity of 1.
Also, under the injector output functions has a boost table as per the attached.
What exactly has this table been configured for..?
I ask all of the above, since I've tried numerous solenoid plumbing configurations, with minimal success and far from smooth control.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Phoenix

Forgot to mention that I've plumbed the 3-port solenoid to EWG as follows:
Pressure source from turbo compressor to side Port 2 of solenoid.
Center Port 3 of solenoid to Top port of EWG.
Exhaust Port 1 of solenoid to Bottom port of EWG.
Thanks again.

What is inj5 output connected to, and what function is set up for it? Full Throttle Timer vs. Timer 1 is what those axis are. It may be a 'legacy' table left over from a previous function for that output.
You might want to physically review the pinout and write a spreadsheet of it, with pin, where it goes, function, etc.
WG line routing depends on type of control solenoid used (3 port NC, 3 port NO, 4 port, 2 port etc.), and control scheme desired. Frequency depends on the solenoid itself, and polarity depends on output logic desired.
F1 is your friend.
Be more specific about your equipment, we can't help when descriptions are too vague.

Hi Scott,
See the attached image.
Control channel 0 and 6 has been tested, with no success.
At times it seems like boost is stable, and then the turbo overshoots its target to excessive pressures.
The solenoid is a 3-port MAC valve at per the attached image.
Possibility of the pin-outs in the wiring harness being incorrect..?

What is efficiency defined as? Verify its MAP, and not MAF or something else such as MAP/BAP. Start with Controlled Channel = 6 (duty cycle controlled, no feedback) Verify Inj5 output is controlling the solenoid, Utilities/Test Outputs, then test the inj5 at say 20Hz at 50% DC, should get activity at BCS. If not trace the wiring.
Those solenoids work best between a freq. of 30-40Hz IMO. Useable DC% range will be approx. 25% DC to approx. 95% DC and reasonably linear.
'Usual' way of plumbing that solenoid and WG will be; Boost source to lower WG fitting. Boost source to Port 1 (can be teed to lower WG fitting), Port 2 Open (vent), Port 3 to TOP of WG. This results in lowest boost possible at 0% DC. This allows for a wider control range with a lighter spring than just using the lower WG port alone. Might want to verify what spring is in the WG. Quite possible to get 3+ bar control range from 25% DC to 95% DC with a .5 bar spring, turbo/backpressure dependent. Most solenoids cannot handle high temp air for long periods, so use a boost source post IC.
For PID setup watch the webinars.

Given the diagram on the valve in the above attached picture, I think you meant Port 2 to Top WG and Port 3 to Vent....
Otherwise the WG won't get any pressure!
