m600/methanol/ntk sensor

Postby House on Sun May 20, 2012 12:59 pm

I have a supra we are playing with and it has an m600 running m5 methanol and utilizing an ntk wb o2 sensor. When we go richer then .67 lambda it throws an error. We have tried 3 different sensors. Does anyone know if the ecm can read richer then this or is this the lower boundry of the sensor/ecm.

thank you

The type of error will indicate what is happening and you are probably at the sensor/ECU limits. How rich do you intend to go? Also, LA=1 is stoich regardless of the fuel you use.

.67ish is as rich as the NTK can read. Nothing wrong with your sensor I think.

.67 is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay rich though. Is it just spiking rich on the closing of the throttle?
