Moving from TPS+MAPcomp to TPSonly.

Postby Polux RSV on Sun Mar 27, 2011 10:45 pm

I built the fuel map using TPS fuel map, with MAP compensation, on a M800 with lambda activated. But as MAP signal is not so good due to ITB, I plan to move to TPS map with baro comp. I know all the pro and cons, but here the question is: knowing the close relation between TPS and MAP signal, read from various logging sessions, could I simply edit the fuel map to lower values where needed ? Will my new map be good enough to avoid a new dyno session, knowing also the lambdas would help during first runs before I finalize the fuel map?

Thanks for any advice.
