Hey,
I've just installed LS1 coilpacks on my Nissan S15 (sr20det).
She starts....phew!.....with the stock dwell settings but ive still gotta give her to my tuner to double check everything is a-ok.
But does anyone have a dwell table for the LS1's?
Who I bought them from has just told me 5ms, which I know is wrong.

Hi,
Can you give me the part number of the coil and which ECU you are using?

Hi Mark...cheers for the reply
ECU is Motec M800
the coils dont have a part number on them. They were sold to me as Haltech LS1 Coils, but didn't have a haltech sticker on them. I contacted Haltech and they have told me they are genuine GM LS1 Coils.
They look identical to this -

I really do not like giving out Dwell tables without a definite part number, it would really be best to check it.
the dwell should be something like:
15v 2.8msec
14v 3.2msec
13v 3.5msec
12v 3,9msec
11v 4.4msec
10v 5.1msec
9v 6.2msec
8v 9.6msec
This is on the safe side but should not cause a problem.

Another Dwell time question.
Does anyone have the dwell time for an Audi S4 (v8 4.2 BBK).
