A big-end bolt failed.....engine has done about 2000Km with a RPM limit of 8600Rpm.

Mostly track use.

Hi Martin,

Which conrods and crank are used in the engine?
Whats the rod bearing oil clearance?
What oil used and its running temp?
What is the engine torque and boost?

Cheers
Alex

Drivers always have to push the throttle to the bottom after engine explosion. Isn't it strange? :mrgreen:

Rods = Eagle
Pistons and the rest im not sure...
Oil Running temp......use to be 110`s in 10lap race but bigger cooler was fitted and also position and ducting changed. Brought it down to high 70`s
Boost = 200KpaA
Overboost button = 240KpaA for 15 sec`s

200KpaA makes just over 300Kw on Dynapack at 86KpaA altitude (1400m)
