4g92 mivec

hello anyone,just wondering if anyone out there has had experience with the 1.6 DOHC 4g92 mivec engine we have a m48 ready but tips would be appreciated.will be tuning for race application

You will need a Mx00 ECU to do continuous variable valve timing. The M48 will not do continuous variable cam timing, only 2 position cam timing.

4g92 mivec is not continuously variable this is only mivec 1 which only has high /low cams,the mivec system only requires switching on at rpm

My apologies, I thought that Mivec referred to their continuous variable valve timing system.


M48 Will do 2 position control.

Is it wasted spark like the 63's?

What would you need? I havent got a map...but I could send you a 4G63 map if you wanted? Ill be in Mx00 but you can read all the settings there that you would like to know..
