Seadoo Update
Posted: Mon Jul 20, 2009 4:48 pmMoTeC is continuing with testing a kit for the Seadoo. We have created an adapter loom and are currently running an RXP and RXPX with it.
The kit will provide full dash functionality and normal operation of the ECU controlled Variable Trim System.
An added exciting feature of the Seadoo system will be the ability to use the existing dash display for different sensors.
For example, the VTS indicator can be reconfigured to display information from the onboard lambda sensor or the exhaust gas temperature. Or the ambient water temperature display could be used to show inlet air temperature. You can choose any sensor measured into the ECU to display.
The kit will be similar to the Yamaha and the adapter loom will simply plug into the existing factory loom. It's expected that the first adapter looms will be available sometime in August or September.
