Look at the 16Khz at the bottom....

looks like its been cut of there. also, not all the dip swith combonations are listed so I was wondering if there might be more....

Ive got a 1UZFE that rings at 20Khz and this is why I ask what can be done to reach there

There's no option in the SKM for 20kHz centre frequency, the DIP switches give access to all available frequencies. 16kHz is therefore the highest you can access. From the spread you show I'd also imagine you might be able to use 14k or 16k. There's a lot of 'smear' around the knock events at 20k, whereas at 16k the signal is relatively clear of other noise.

Thanks for the tip.

I now have a Siemens sensor fitted to the same setup and will post some captures for comments and just for everybody to see the differences. This is a stock 1UZ-FE, and its NOT a customers engine ;)

I have a similar situation with the OEM Honda sensor on my car. It's got a very clear and distinct 'ring' at 3.5k, but nothing really very usable in the allowable frequency range. I've got a Bosch sensor on it now, but the Honda sensor had a much cleaner knock ring than the Bosch does in this application. Seems like a slightly wider frequency range would be helpful.
