Non-Motec knock modules

Does the Mx00 support other brands of knock control?
I.e does the Mx00 series need the knock window(122) function enabled on one of the injector/ignition outputs for the knock control function itself to work?

I am looking at Plex or similar because I don't have any injector or ignition outputs to spare for the knock window output function.

I can supply a constant knock level input to an input pin.

If you just want to retard the ignition in response to a knock level from your Plex, why don't you consider using one of the Ignition Compensation tables (i.e. Comp1 or Comp2). You could set your input as one of the axis and choose how much to modify the ignition in response to the knock.

The M800 has much better tuning capability vs the Plex.
I also want the individual cylinder capability.

It comes down to the long term trims for me and I also want to use the fuel adaptations to apply a multiplier to my alcohol injection system.
