M400 and SKM

Hi, I'm using my SKM on a M800 without any problems with INJ8 and LA2S connections. I now have a M400 and expect to be able to use the same settings but the software is denying these. The SKM manual states I can use INJ8 and LA2S also on M400. Why is the ECU software claiming I cannot use these on the M400? What am I missing here?
Any hints very much appreciated!

Check the firmware version you are running. The ability to use the extra output in the M400/M600 was only added in the later firmware versions.

Hi, thanks! This unit is already running the latest version (3.54E2). That is why I don't understand this behavior
