USB Audio Interface

Postby whrdnsx on Sat Apr 10, 2010 8:18 pm

My laptop does not have an audio L & R Channel input.

Can anyone recommend a USB Audio Interface suitable for the SKM?

There are several on Ebay but just want to make sure i buy one that works!

Thanks

We have had very good results with 2 devices:
Turtle Beach Audio Advantage SRM.
This device is smaller than a cigarette packet and has a very easy to use control panel. Monitoring the knock signal while recording is quick and easy.
Part number - TBS-1122-03.

Soundblaster X-Fi Surround 5.1
Model number SB1090. Also easy to use, the control panel is a little messier but it is also possible to monitor the knock signal while recording.

We've tried a number of other ebay-type sound cards and without the ability to monitor the audio while you are recording (also known as full duplex) they are not useful.

I have googled, searched the forum, searched epilepsy specific sites and forums, but it seems that I can't find any data which would connect seizures with smoking ecigarattes.
