GM Knock sensor for SKM

Postby Wolf_Tm250 on Sat Dec 19, 2009 5:55 am

Hello all,
currently I have the GM10456288 knock sensor on my 3SGTE engine.
What do you think of it ?
Would it be ok for the SKM ?
Please look its characteristics here:

Thanks.

You should use the knock sensor that came with the engine. This will have the best characteristics to detect knock on your engine

Hi Sprinter,
unfortunately I have no more the stock one...

Moreover there is a fairy tale about the stock Toyota knock sensor that tells it breaks definitively after some "good" knocks...
