GPS for AutoX loggin - Any good?

Guys I will be going to an autoX in two weeks. I am thinking of using my C125 to log my time.
The idea would be to set this up with some google maps coordinates on the parking lot.

Not sure what want out of this other than just a test for now. Not sure it would be beneficial realistically unless someone tells me otherwise.
