GPS framing error

Postby Stenley on Thu May 26, 2016 6:46 am

I have hooked up a navilock serial gps unit that i programmed at 10hz and 38400.
Now i have set these values in the ADL2 that the gps is hooked up to.
Initially when i look at the Comms diag rs232 I see the value 2, which means framin error.

Now when i upload the same setup to the ADL2 again the errors are gone and gps is working fine.
As i can get the gps to work by just uploading setup again it must not be a wiring problem i would say.
Does this mean that the adl2 starts reading halfway the nmea sentences of the gps unit?
What can I do to fix this? Lower baudrate?

Thank you in advance
