M400 with motec GPS sensor - Trackmapping

Hi - I have a m400 and I have installed the gps from motec- it is positioned on the roof, outside the car.
I would like to create a track map , but it's not happening. I have checked the channels , and I see data and position when online with the ecu , I have used a handheld gps and have to start line and finish line coordinates. I can find no where in i2 to enter these to create the beacons. I have created a map of a trip around the block , and that worked ok - the start and the finish was in the same spot - but I can't get this to work at the track - does motec have a procedure for doing this , starting to get frustrated!!!!
