GPS Beacon positions

Postby JamieA on Mon Sep 22, 2008 1:07 pm

This is information for people using MoTeC's GPS beacons function:
Here is a list of the GPS postions of tracks that I have information for. Here would be a good place for you to get your GPS beacon positions, or help others by letting us know of GPS beacon positons for other tracks that we dont have listed.
Do not use Google earth or alike for this information, use only GPS data looged by a motec product to ensure accuracy of the position information.

I have updated this link with the latest file of positions as at 21-06-2011

I am looking for a Daytona beacon position, specifically for the Rolex course. Any help will be appreciated.

Anyone have the Oulton Park, Cheshire, UK positions and those from Rockingham here in the UK? How much discrepancy might one find by using these published positions over actually using the data from your own GPS receiver? Is it anything to worry about? Thanks.
