Nissan VQ35HR Dual intake

Has anybody got a startup file for this engine or some information?

Here are some information I found.

Nobody fitted a standalone ECU to this engine before?

I have the HR motor running with cam control on the inlet and exhaust. I used the Mode 55 as the basis for the setup but we are using an aftermarket flywheel with a Magnetic pickup so my settings wont help. This is the infomation supplied to us.

For the cam control you will need to find the duty cycle where the cam position is stable and go minus 5 and plus 5
for your low and high duty cycle. When finding the cam stable position remember the exhaust cam has a polarity of 1 and count down from 100 to find the stable duty cycle.

Hi Stephen,


I have it running, Cam control works on both banks. Im also running a modified triggerwheel (mag sensor) but it is still 10-2 10-2 10-2.

IM running mode 35. (saves a digital input) I copied the OEM trigger wheel setup.....


The left inlet cam has the following patern.....single......single.....double.....double.....

The last double`s rising edge should happen right in the middle of 2 gaps with no advance on the inlet.


Im doing my second one at the moment.
