Can we have a generic mapping section please?

I have a Volvo Penta (similar to Chevrolet) V8 5.7L on a boat. I replaced the carburator by a MPFI and I wish ti pilot it with an M84. I wired it and now I need to do the setting up. Does it exist a pr-map, starting map, to start on the right foot?
