PDM 30

Postby bullet on Thu Feb 25, 2016 2:39 pm

we are using a PDM 30 for drag racing and have a M/W Pro Drag 4 ignition system to install, will one 20amp o/put be enough (MW specifies max current of 20amp and use a 25amp fuse). PDM30 spec show 20amp continuous and 115amp transient so for drag racing one o/put would be ok?

Is the car on 16v?

My PD4 never pulled over 18A when I had it.

If you use both pins of the output, and a larger gauge Tefzel wire for the connection, then this will be acceptable. We recommend the use of Tefzel for higher draw currents as the insulation can cope with more heat.
