M150 in need of repair

Postby TurboTito on Sat Mar 01, 2025 9:15 pm

After about 6,000 miles of driving, my M150 ecu seemed to have failed on me. I'm not sure what has happened with it, but I would like to send it in for inspection and repair. It has a long list of issues going on with it, such as No Throttle response, several sensors not working, the engine lightly revs on its own, and more.

I am located in the US.

Thanks.

The issue you're seeing may be caused by a failed sensor or damaged wiring. Reach out to your MoTeC dealer so they can assist with diagnosis.

If the M1 requires further inspection then it can be returned to MoTeC USA via RMA.

Just an update on what was done.

I shipped the ECU to Motec USA for inspection and diagnosis.

It was found that the firmware, current package, and logger were all corrupted. Still not 100% what caused it tho.

ECU was reloaded with the firmware, most recent package that I had on file, and logger.....and then tested. ECU shows to be functioning properly now and will be shipped back to me next week for testing on the vehicle.
