I'd like to run several instances of Telemetry Monitor on one PC connected to a networked server machine so I can display them on separate monitors; Is this possible? TIA.

yes this works no problem.

It will stop you starting up multiple instances pointing to the same source(ie the same com port), but if you have them pointed to different sources it is no problems.

It is quite common to have a team watching two cars worth of Telemetry on the one PC.

This happens when I try to start a second instance of Telemetry Monitor.

I don't know if the screen cap of the error will be visible above,

'
Track Map Broadcasting (client)
A communication error of type "Address already in use" (10048) occured.
Please modify your Track Map Broadcasting (client) settings to correct the problem.

Keep in mind I am in fact trying to connect to the same server - I want to monitor the same stream (same car) with additional running copies of Telemetry Monitor on the same PC, not two different cars. I need to display a totally different set of parameters on each of the monitors, which is why I need the multiple instances.

While you can run two telemetry monitor applications on the same computer, you may not do track map broadcasting from both. You should turn off track map broadcasting from the first session you start, then start the second session of telemetry monitor.

Thanks for the reply - I'll try that.

Another related question; Is there a file I can copy to, or delete from the non-setup PCs that receive telemetry that allows changed channel names to come through? They seem to all come over the stream in their default names like GP 20 (0 dps), or previously assigned names, instead of the channel names most recently given to them in Dash Manager. All of the names are fine when watching telemetry on the actual setup PC.
