Time slip plot

Postby a.taylor on Thu Aug 07, 2008 12:56 am

Hi all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to to a time slip plot/graph when comparing two laps.

Ie when x axis is in distance the y axis shows time. Effectivley plotting how much faster or slower 1 lap to each point (every 1 metre for example) was to the compared lap.

I have seen such features on other data loging setups and find that its a very quick way of identifying potential areas of time savings or losses (particularly when there are multiple drivers to compare) but have yet to find a way to do this in i2.

Cheers
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

This can be done using the Variance function in both i2 Standard and i2 Pro. Simply press F3 when you have two channels overlayed, or click the small delta icon on the toolbar, and this will bring up the time loss function you describe.
