Hi Guys

Probably missed something simple here but I 've been staring at the screen for ages.

How do I transfer a project from one laptop to another? I have customised he layout in my old laptop and want to bring it across to the new laptop. I even installed i2 Standard in the new laptop and then copied the entire i2 Standard folder from the old laptop to the new laptop to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jason,

Try copying the files from the following location on your old laptop and paste them into the same folder in your new laptop. i2 Standard projects are hidden at:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\MoTeC\Standard Projects

The solution above works with Windows Vista, however in Windows XP the project folders are located here:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\MoTeC\Standard Projects

In Windows7 the project folders are located in the same place as Vista.
