Hey Guys,

I cant get i2 to read the data log my 2013 HSV VF has output. Im using the HSV specific i2 program, but it seems the program can only read '.ld' files. My car has output '.edilog'.

Any ideas? Really need to anylize why my car dropped oil pressure on a recent track day. Need to see my oil temp.

In the EDI version of i2 go to File>Import USB Data. Select your USB Stick and click 'Import'. It will convert the raw log files into .ld files that i2 can open.

Hi Adrian,

Thanks for the reply, but it doesnt work. The 'Import" button is greyed out. It cant see the file.

"USB Drive" path says [No Log Files]

Doesnt matter if its in a folder or the root directory.

Any ideas? I just want to know what my oil temp got to. Very important i find out.

i2 is expecting to see the original USB stick the files were logged to. If you have moved the log file off the original stick you just need to create the following folders on another USB stick:

X:\HSV\Logging where 'X' is the USB drive letter.

Put the .edilog file in the logging folder and i2 should be able to pick it up.

If you have any issues, send the .edilog file through to support@motec.com.au and the guys will be able to help you out.

My god it works! Months of mucking around! Thankyou!!!!

On a side note, as a computer tech, why the hell would it matter what folder its in??? Pretty silly really....
