Variance setting loss

Hi
When I enable the variance option in i2 std OR pro (1.1.4.0689), save the workspace, exit i2 and then reopen the variance option is unset.
Is this expected behavior?

Yes this is the expected behaviour. When you open a log file it will set the main to the fastest lap but it doesn't automatically select an overlay so there is no reason to have the variance shown.
It is pretty simple to hit F3 to bring it up if needed.

OK, understand if not completely agree, particularly in the situation where you are automatically reopening the last log files on starting i2 Pro which means both the fastest and overlay laps are preloaded and selected automatically (neat feature by the way, particularly for the amateur who is likely to be popping in and out of i2 when time/partner permits).
Guess I need to start learning some shortcuts.

I've already added a feature request into our system to change the behaviour
