I2 Rally project feature request and fix

Good day,

I have been using the rally project for engineering development and it is always been a bit difficult to create a stage, since we don't have any beacon and driving randomly to the track.

I think that using the datum cursors (yellow and green lines) to create the start and end of a stage would be a nice addition to rally project. Something like "Use secondary datum for stage length" check box in the "Insert Stage" menu.

Also each time Channel Report is used in a Rally Project the following error is shown:
Missing mandatory Header(s): "Outings:Stages"

As I understand the error is cause by the default setting in Channel Report Proprieties been set at Outing:Laps in the Headings Options Menu

Hi Frank,

Thanks for reporting that, obviously it shouldn't be looking for "laps" in a Rally project so I'll get that added as a bug.

I also think in addition to your suggestion there are a few things we can do to make the stage creation better/easier so I'll put in a feature request to improve how that works.
