Windows convenience question -- is it possible to make a shortcut that will load i2pro with a specific data file open in a specific workspace?? I know you can click on a data file if the association to i2pro is registered with Windows but I haven't figured out how to ensure that it opens in the particular workspace I want for that file. I wonder about command line arguments that one can add to a shortcut perhaps??

i2Pro doesn't have any command line arguments that will do what you want.
It isn't exactly what you are after but you can set i2 to open the last workspace and last log files you had open. To set this go to Tools>Options>General and tick "Load previous log files" and "Load previous log files on startup"

Thanks Adrian. You're right that's useful but not quite what I was hunting for -- going back to the video display workaround, I was hoping to find a way to one-click launch and load i2pro with the example files and then with a second click launch a second copy of i2pro to open a different workspace and data that I want to examine. Just being lazy...not to worry, I can get to what I need with a few extra clicks.
