Can i2 Standard please have square root function added? The reason for the request is to increase the readability of data (absolute value).

Fun historical fact: The first pocket calculator that had the square root function was the Hewlett Packard HP-35 which was released 2/1/1972; 48 years ago.

Thank you,

-Todd

I feel you pain. I like shifted a customer out of an inferior and outdated data system I won't mention the name of that you would now have to pay someone to take of your hands. While preparing his i2 workbooks for him it came to my attention that he would now lose the opportunity to review a cumulative g channel (GSum). Of no surprise he was indeed disappointed that his investment could not generate this channel. I take responsibility of this for not selling the Pro upgrade in the initial quote, but going forward this addition would be meaningful to the customer and would go a long way in creating brand loyalty.

A Motec un-editable cumulative g channel would be more than acceptable.

I will add a feature request into our system for this however I can't promise it will get added. One of the key differences between i2 Pro and i2 Standard is advanced maths functionality.

I acknowledge and respect your business model regarding advanced maths functionality.

From your dealers & customers point of view, calling the square root function as "advanced maths" seems rather constrictive; be that you can get this function on every pocket calculator.

Thank you for advancing the request.

Hi Adrian.

So no square root math expression for i2 Standard?

Maybe one can hope for it to be included for the 50th anniversary that it was available on a pocket calculator. ;)

Thank you
