"Custom Details" - productivity tips?

We have engine performance, section performance comparison, and aero/suspension analysis tied to a number of setup and condition (i.e. weather) parameters, currently specified as "Custom Details".

Is there a way to pre-populate those in newly downloaded files, with default values, once they are opened in i2?

Alternatively, can those be "bulk" copied across log files somehow?

Perhaps there is a better or more efficient way to go about these values to begin with?

Ideally, most of these values would be pre-populated automatically from default or last used set, but can still be modified at the log file or session level (we keep 1 file = 1 session separation)

Have you considered using Setup Sheets for your "session-unique values"? Channels specified in SetupSheets carry forward existing values from previous sessions, and you can add data later that can apply to multiple sessions.

I used to use constant channels in the dash to keep vehicle-unique values, but setup sheets do it much better.
